Seven Ecuadorian shrimp farming companies will be present at Seafood Expo North America 2016, taking place 6 to 8 March in Boston, Mass.
The companies who will exhibit at SENA are Edpacif, Expalsa, Langosmar Organic, Negocios Industriales Real NIRSA, Omarsa, Quirola Group and Sociedad Nacional de Galápagos SONGA. Representatives from each of these companies will be stationed at booth 633 for those interested in learning more about their products.
Ecuador is the largest shrimp supplier to the E.U., the third-largest shrimp supplier to U.S. and a significant supplier to Asia. Ecuador’s first shrimp farm was launched in 1967 and is still in production. The world’s first organic-certified shrimp farm is also located in Ecuador.
